Your shop’s hydraulic needs are unique. Depending on the jobs you need to get done, there are a variety of crimper options out there.
Understanding the equipment, applications and size requirements involved in your hydraulic needs will dictate what kind of crimper is right for you.
Here is a quick rundown of some options offered by Kimball Midwest:
K100 K-Series Hydraulic Portable Crimper with Hand Pump
The K100 offers 35 tons of crimping force to crimp up to 1” two-wire and ¾” four-spiral hose. It’s made in the USA and includes a micrometer, LED crimp indicator, removable pusher and die cages and base mounting holes.
It also includes an easy carry handle for portability. This is important because you never know when or where you might need to crimp something, and not being reliant on electricity or an air compressor can allow you to get the job done in a pinch.
K100 K-Series Hydraulic Portable Crimper with Air/Hydraulic Pump
This K100 offers the same great features as the one above, but instead has an air/hydraulic pump. It also is commonly used for mobile crimping and is our most popular crimper overall, as it also is an economical option for in-shop use.
K300 K-Series Hydraulic Crimper with Air/Hydraulic Pump
The K300 provides up to 62 tons of crimping force to crimp up to 1-1/4” two-wire, 1-1/4” four-spiral and 1” six-spiral hose.
It’s made in the USA and includes a micrometer, adjustable retraction stop, automatic shutoff, removable pusher and dies and a pneumatic switch for hand or foot operation.
The K300 also is available with a 110-volt pump or a 220-volt pump. The K300 with a 110-volt pump is the most popular in-shop option.
K500 K-Series Hydraulic Crimper with 110 Volt Pump
