Those efforts are guided by our mission statement, “To provide our customers with superior products, customer services and product availability to effectively lower their total maintenance, repair and operations costs.”   That sounds great, but how do we put that mission into action? On a day-to-day basis, we’re also guided by our [vision and values](https://www.kimballmidwest.com/Careers/Mission-Vision-Values).   Several of those values are directly related to taking care of our customers:   **People Business**   We know our business is all about dealing with people. It’s a relationship business. If you treat people right, they’ll treat you right. Failure to do this is not good business. It doesn’t work long-term. This is a business, but it’s a business built around servicing people.   **Two-Customer Philosophy**   Our outstanding customer service stems from our core value that we have two customers. We view both the end users of our products and our fellow associates as our customers. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to both our associates and our customers.   This culture of exceptional service is exactly why Kimball Midwest continues to grow year over year. We support the success of our sales force and corporate associates as they work together to go above and beyond the expectations of our customer.   **Document Cost Justification to Customers**   We realize every customer wants a quality product for a fair price. We provide our customers with detailed cost analysis to illustrate the value of their purchase.
