New Safety Products for National Safety Month

National Safety Month is in full swing, and with it comes several new Kimball Midwest safety products. These new items are in addition to the already extensive list of safety products we offer.

As these are new products, we wanted to make sure to feature them so you have the chance to update your safety gear and PPE so you, your employees and shop are as safe as can be.

The below products are something most shops have and wear or use every day. Be sure to check each product out and reflect on the PPE and safety gear your shop currently uses.

Often, safety vests and shirts become dirty and worn out as they are the outermost piece of clothing workers wear. We have three new options available: Type O, Class I Safety Vests, Type R; Class II Safety Vests and Shirts and Type R; Class III Safety Vests and Shirts.

Depending on the task at hand, most workers wear gloves to protect their hands from a variety of hazards. This month, we introduced two new glove options for our customers: the Raven® Disposable Nitrile Gloves provide protection against chemicals, and the Cut-Resistant A9 Gloves are a reusable option to protect against cuts and other sharp objects.

Even if all safety precautions are followed, accidents happen. In those instances, we have several new medical and safety kits: a First Aid Emergency Response Bag and six treatment pack refills for a variety of injuries and first aid medication. Make sure to review your first aid and medical supplies to check for outdated product or low inventory.

In addition to these new safety products, Kimball Midwest can provide you with a variety of other safety gear such as ear plugs, hydration packs, air hose safety tethers and hose halters to make sure you are prepared.
