Abrasives for Small Spaces

Sometimes you need to get in a tight spot and your trusty sander is just a little too big to get in there.

If some of your shop’s projects involve close quarters, we’ve gathered this selection of smaller abrasive items (2” or less) to get into tight spaces.

Grinding/Metal Finishing Assortments

We have three great assortment options offering a miniature grinder along with appropriate related abrasives. Will one of these work for you?

The USA Mini Angle Grinder with Abrasives features a 2” USA Mini Pneumatic Angle Grinder, which provides outstanding control when grinding welds or finishing metals. The assortment also includes a selection of discs and wheels in that size.

The USA Mini Die Grinder with Abrasives is highlighted by a 1/4” USA Mini Pneumatic Straight Die Grinder and a variety of matching discs, wheels, brushes and burs.

The USA Mini Right-Angle Grinder with Abrasives comes with a 1/4” USA Mini Pneumatic Right Angle Die Grinder and the same selection of matching abrasives as the straight die grinder.

Surface Preparation and Die Grinder Bundles

Our 1/4” Single Wrench Die Grinder is the foundation of our next two bundles, both of which focus on surface preparation.

The 1/4” Die Grinder with Surface Preparation Bundle includes a 39-piece master assortment with an extensive variety of surface preparation discs.

The 1/4” Die Grinder with Type R Grinding Discs Bundle contains 150 Dark-Fire™ grinding and Kim-Brite conditioning discs.

Compact Pneumatic Belt Sander and Belts Bundle

Our Compact Pneumatic Belt Sander is easily controlled, and the abrasive belts allow precise removal and surface preparation. It’s ideal for use on edges, contoured surfaces and cylindrical parts and provides a smoother finish than rotary tools. The sanding belt head pivots independently of the handle and motor for use in tight areas.

The sander also is available in a bundle with two types of belts.

Abrasive Pads and Scraper Bundle

Finally, the Abrasive Pad Scraper features an angled head, which allows for a comfortable hold and reduced hand fatigue while in use. The abrasive pad wraps around the head of the tool, providing support in hard-to-reach areas. Abrasive pads with hook and loop backing quickly attach to the tool for fast and easy replacement.

The bundle provides the scraper and six abrasive pads in each of coarse, medium and fine.
