Safety has been the talk of the town since about this time last year. It started with social distancing and masks and has continued with plenty of guidelines to keep yourself and your employees and their families safe.

But safety isn’t anything new to you because you’ve always wanted to keep those people safe. It’s just done a little differently these days.

This, however, isn’t concentrating on masks and shields and social distancing. This is about the overall safety you’ve always cared about, and we have six new products that can help you keep everyone safe.

The most important part of safety is what you can see, so we’ve come up with a pair of no-line bifocal safety glasses designed to magnify close-up work without the hard lines found in most safety bifocals. The InViz Bifocal Safety Glasses, which range from 1.5 to 2.5 diopters, help eliminate switching between safety and reading glasses and ensure safety glasses will be worn when required.

The built-in ventilation channel between the frame and lens resists fogging, and the glasses are high-impact polycarbonate, which is resistant to scratching and breaking for extended use in rough workshop environments.

The glasses also are UV resistant, blocking 99.9% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.

We know accidents happen, though, so if a chemical should come in contact with your skin or eyes, we can help you mitigate the damage, too, with the Eye & Skin Wash Station.

The Certi-Lizer isotonic, buffered solution neutralizes acid and alkali burns, and can be used to flush debris out of eyes.

The station mounts to the wall with foam tape (included) or screws and includes two 16-ounce safety-sealed bottles.

We also stock new Type R, Class II Surveyors Safety vests. These vests have seven pockets so you can carry whatever you always need on you. The high visibility colors make sure you are seen when wearing the vest. The two-inch Class II polyester reflective tape provides added nighttime visibility.

The vest is made of lightweight, knitted polyester mesh, which combines durability with comfort for extended wear. It has a zipper-front closure and a pair of lanyard attachments.

Your hands also need to be protected on the job site. For that we have High Visibility Impact Gloves.

The reinforced, padded high-visibility gloves are ideal for demanding workplace environments. The thermoplastic rubber (TPR) on the back of the hand and on the tops of the fingers, combined with reinforced synthetic leather palm padding, provides superior impact and abrasion protection.

The high-visibility yellow offers increased safety in low-light conditions.

We also have the new 3M Reusable Half Face Respirators.

This respirator allows greater visibility and increased comfort and can be used with either the organic vapor cartridge or the P100 particulate filter. The replaceable filters and cartridges offer a cost savings over standard “no service” respirators.

The organic vapor cartridge provides protection from certain organic vapors at concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit.

The P100 particle filter provides a minimum of 99.97% filter efficiency and protects against airborne solid and liquid particles and dust.
