As winter fades into spring, now is the perfect time to start looking around your shop at what needs maintained, cleaned or organized. One thing to not overlook is electrical wires.

PVC Primary Wire is a great wire option, and it’s what most equipment and vehicles come with. This wire is stranded copper and is best for wiring power, lighting, signals, instruments and accessories in automotive, truck, trailer and bus applications. Please keep in mind that some PVC wires can contain soy byproducts, which can lead to rodents eating away at the insulation.

As a premium option over our PVC Primary Wire, the SXL Cross-Link Primary Wire also is a stranded copper wire that is mostly used in equipment and vehicles. So what makes our SXL Cross-Link Primary Wire our premium option?

The SXL Cross-Link Primary Wire provides an increase in durability. The wire has superior resistance to weather, abrasion, temperature extremes and chemicals. Also, the wire has extreme durability that extends life and reduces replacement, making it perfect for wires that are exposed in harsher heat or abrasion applications. Another positive is the insulation contains no soy byproducts.

The Cross-Link Primary Wire also comes in GXL and TXL options for different thickness of insulation for applications where you may need more flexible or smaller wire to fit in tight spaces.
