If you work with paint on cars, Kimball Midwest is your one-stop shop for anything you need to make sure the job is done right.

While we don’t specialize in all-over painting of vehicles, we have what you need to protect engines and touchup and restore vehicles and other equipment so they can look their best and continue to do their jobs with the proper preventative maintenance.

We have help under the hood for you to begin with. Our Universal Engine Enamels match colors to some of the most popular brands. The paint allows you to spray extra close to the work piece. It’s formulated not to sag, thereby reducing wasteful overspray. It also provides long-lasting durability in harsh environments, resisting gas, oil, grease and solvents. The paint is also resistant to prolonged 300-degree temperatures, preventing blistering and peeling.

If you are looking for a gray cast coating, we have you covered there, too, with our Cast Iron Gray. This specially formulated paint can withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees and is ideal for exhaust manifolds and diesel stacks and is the perfect solution for engine rebuilders to use on cylinder heads and blocks for a brand-new professional look. It resists engine heat and fluids and can be topcoated with engine enamels.

And if you are looking for something with a little more sparkle, we can do that, too, with our Shiny Aluminum. Its formula is made to spray close and not sag. It finishes extremely hard to resist chipping and cracking, as well as abrasions and chemicals. It resists fading, chalking and peeling – even under extended exposure to sunlight.

Moving to the body, you can’t paint a vehicle unless you prime it, and we can make sure you get the job done right.

With our Fast Dry Sandable Primer – available in a wide variety of colors – you can make sure you aren’t just doing it right, but you are accomplishing your tasks quickly, too. The Ultra Pro-Max paint is a modified acrylic resin system that provides increased performance and durability. It dries to the touch in 10 minutes, can be dry or wet sanded within 15 minutes of application and a topcoat can be applied in 15 minutes.

Of course, after that our Ultra Pro-Max paints are the way to go for a great-looking finish. The Ultra Pro-Max paint is economical, thanks to the high amount of solids in our 16-ounce cans. It takes 2-3 cans of economy paint to match the amount you get out of one of ours, saving you time and money. It’s also a superior performance enamel system, holding up to the harshest of weather elements. Ultra Pro-Max has been formulated to reduce the amount of solvents to a low level, reducing environmental and health hazards. And fewer cans used means fewer cans in landfills.

One of the most difficult items to make look good again is a bumper or formerly black trim pieces that have faded in the sun. We have that covered with our Bumper-Flex Flexible Finish Paint.

Bumper-Flex restores the original finish to hard or soft molded auto-body parts. Its super-flexible finish prevents chipping and cracking. It’s also ideal as a primer before finishing with most auto-body paints. But on top of it all, it’s an exact match to factory colors on bumpers and air dams, and it dries extremely fast.

Finally, we know truck beds can take a beating and they need to be protected, so you can get the most out of the life of your truck. For that, we have Dark Shield.

Dark Shield provides a durable, black protective coating that forms a thick layer that is tough and flexible. It withstands heavy impact and abrasion and flexes with the material it is applied to. The fast-drying formula is dry to the touch in 10 minutes and able to be handled in 4-6 hours.

You can apply a completely new bed liner, or repair existing coatings. It can be applied to any solid surface, including truck beds, trailers, wheel wells, equipment or anywhere improved abrasion and corrosion resistance or traction is desired.

Whether it’s protecting your engine or your truck bed, chances are Kimball Midwest has the paint you need. All you have to do is click right here to Find a Rep!
