2022 was a year like no other for Kimball Midwest customers and sales reps. There were still many hardships to face as many people as possible across the country tried to return to some normalcy despite COVID-19. Kimball Midwest sales reps were with our customers every step of the way to help them succeed.
Anyone who has worked in a shop can tell you it’s not always the cleanest, most organized environment. Sometimes, you must make a mess to get the job done. While it may not seem like a big deal if a corner of a shop is cluttered or messy, these problems can add up and prove to be costly.
September is Food Safety Month, so Kimball Midwest would like to take a moment to recognize the food grade products we sell.
To claim a product is Made in the USA, the Federal Trade Commission requires “all or virtually all” of a product be made in America. Specifically, “all significant parts, processing, and labor that go into the product must be of U.S. origin.”
The breakdowns in the supply chain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have renewed interest in Made in the USA products. Most American consumers surveyed in 2017 responded that buying American-made products was at least somewhat, if not very, important, but they also indicated an unwillingness to spend more on domestic products.
In March 2020, Americans learned a valuable lesson.
